📤 Publish to gallery

Your project will be added to the shared gallery so the rest of the class can play it. The ROM and the project file will both be downloadable from the gallery page.

Your game

Tick a module, fill in the boxes, and press ▶ Play. The Problems panel on the right lists anything you still need to do. No C code required — but if you want to see what was generated, scroll down to the preview.

🧱 Builder — help

The Builder turns your ticked modules + filled-in boxes into a compilable main.c. The rest of the pipeline — compiling with cc65 and running in the emulator — is exactly the same as the Code page.

  1. Make sure at least one sprite is tagged Player on the Sprites page.
  2. On the Builder page, tick the modules you want. Fill in the settings (start position, walk speed, jump height, …).
  3. Watch the Problems panel on the right — it lists anything that would stop your game from working.
  4. When it's all green, press ▶ Play.

Emulator controls

The browser emulator maps keyboard keys to NES controllers. Player 1 uses the right side of the keyboard; Player 2 uses the I J K L cluster so two pupils can share one keyboard.

D-padA (jump)BStartSelect
Player 1 Arrow keys F D Enter Right Shift
Player 2 I J K L O U 1 2

Player 2 only responds when you've ticked Player 2 under Players and have at least two sprites tagged Player on the Sprites page.
